Our History

Established in 1977, Century 400 has long been recognized as a leading supplier of portable carpet extraction equipment to the professional carpet cleaner. With a broad distribution network, Century 400 has also supplied truck mount extractors, spotting extractors and air blowers to the cleaning professional.

As a business unit of Karcher Floor Care Inc., Century 400 utilizes the manufacturing and product engineering systems long employed by other Karcher Floor Care business units, Prochem and Windsor, to insure a top quality product.

Today, Century 400 is based in Englewood, Colorado where we also have our manufacturing facilities. Our sales, customer service and technical service staff is located in Chandler, Arizona where we also have our chemical manufacturing operations.

In 2003, Century 400 began adding substantial resources to its business, bringing a higher level of customer service, and expanding its equipment selection to include a broad line of basic cleaning equipment including floor machines, cord burnishers, wet/dry vacuums, canister, upright and backpack vacuums, a small autoscrubber and a restroom and multi-surface cleaner, as well as a line of specialty cleaners.
