DrySmart Features & Benefits

General

• All components are by major US manufacturers for reliability and easy service.
• Low electrical energy requirements.  Residential systems operate on a 115 volt 15amp circuit.  Diesel 500 requires a 220v drier or stove outlet. 
• Generator standard on Diesel 500, optional on Diesel 330 and LP 250.
• Panel mounted amp meter displays actual system current draw.
• All duct work is stainless steel as is the furnace heat exchanger.
• Compact system design provides more trailer space for storage of auxiliary equipment.
• Trailers can be pulled by a 1/2 ton pickup.
• Trailer lighting is powered by an on board 12v battery so you have lights before you are hooked up to a power source.
• Porch lights by side door and tank rack, a flood is above the rear door illuminate work areas at night. 
• On board charger keeps the battery ready. 
• Flexible duct can be connected to the air inlet port configure the trailer as a heating system with air make for efficiency.
• Large storage tubes make handling of flex duct easy, protects the duct, and keeps the trailer neat and organized.
• Convenient storage space is provided for 4’ x 8’ sheets of materials.

Supply Blowers

• Powerful backward inclined air foil blowers will transport large volumes of hot dry to where it is needed.
• Diesel 330 & LP 250 use 220v 3 phase motors for power and efficiency.   A VFD converts 110v single phase power to 3 phase. 
• VFD provides motor speed control for blower air volumes can be adjusted to match the job.
• Blower air intake designed to help keep the trailer interior cool and recover “waste” heat.
• Building exhaust air heat can be recovered by recirculation through the blower air intake.  A useful feature when drying in cold winter weather or utilizing the system for heating.  
• In automatic mode, a temperature switch will shut down blower when furnace is cool to prevent blowing cold air into a building.

Furnaces

• Furnaces are indirect fired to keep combustion byproducts (carbon dioxide & water vapor) out of the structure being dried.  Burning 100,000 BTUs of fuel produces nearly a gallon of water.
• Furnaces are built with stainless steel heat exchangers for long life.
• Furnaces are North American built with name brand components. They are easily serviced by any heating technician. 
• Furnace output temperature easy set on digital control panel.
• Remote thermostat placed in the structure is used for more precise building temperature control and to prevent overheating.
• Insulated flexible duct reduces heat loss is available. Much appreciated in the North.

Propane Fuel System

• Four on board 100 lb propane tanks speed set ups.  Open a valve and you’re ready to go.
• Tank platform makes changing tanks from a pickup truck easy.
• Propane tanks have dual valves and can be filled in place without being disconnected.  The LP delivery guys love this feature.  Saves work for you too.
• Quick disconnect propane line allows for easy hook up of a “pig” or additional propane tanks.  This often done so the trailer will run all weekend without service.  At full output, four 100# tanks will run for 35 hours.
• Lockable stainless steel cover keeps snow and ice off of tank valves and deters the curious.
• High quality regulators provide precise gas pressure; tanks connected in parallel for uniform fuel draw.
• Low pressure switch assures furnace operates cleanly and efficiently.
• Modulating gas valve adjusts flame for precise temperature control and uniform burn.
• Spring loaded bleed valve makes sure you have fuel to the furnace and optional generator at start up when the trailer if the trailer has been out of use.

Diesel Fuel System

• On board fuel take will operate the trailer for two to four days depending upon heat output requirements.
• Fuel tank is easily refilled at most any local gas station.  When available, “off road” diesel can be used.
• During refueling, a whistle in the tank vent alerts one to when the tank is almost full.
• Tank fuel cap is lockable.
• Should the need arise, there is a fuel drain on the bottom of the tank.
• Tank supplies fuel to both the generator and the furnace.
• Fuel lines are set so the furnace will run out of fuel before the generator.

Exhaust Blower

• The exhaust blower is "autonomous".  It has its own speed control and can operate independently of the trailer.   It can also be powered from the trailer control panel so that its operation is coordinated with the operation of the furnace supply blower.
• The exhaust blower can be operated from the trailer or be placed in the structure being dried. This feature eliminates the need to run return air flexible duct to the trailer when the ideal location is far from the trailer.
• The blower's variable speed control allows for the adjustment of exhaust air volume.  The volume can exceed, match, or be lower than the volume of the air from the supply blower.  This permits the building to be put under negative, neutral, or positive air pressure.
• The blower is powered by a 3 phase 230v motor for efficiency, control, and reliability yet requires only 110v single phase power as the VFD converts the single phase power to three phase.
