New Shine provides a high gloss floor finish to meet today’s demand for
durability. It delivers a long-lasting wet look for floors when used in conventional
maintenance programs and will last twice as long as conventional floor
finishes. High speed buffing will restore New Shine to a wet look finish. New
Shine is recommended for use in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, day care
centers, grocery stores, retail centers, malls, warehouses and any other areas
of non-resilient flooring.
Strip away old floor finish (for best results use Newline Industries Express
Floor Stripper) and thoroughly rinse floor with clean water. Allow floor to dry
completely. Apply New Shine in a thin, even coat using a clean floor finish mop
or applicator. Apply New Shine at a coverage rate of 2000 to 3000 square feet
per gallon. Allow floor to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes before re-coating.
High temperature and high humidity will extend dry time. A 3 coat minimum is
recommended after a complete strip-out for maximum durability. More coats
may be needed to achieve desired appearance. Never apply more than 5 coats
of New Shine in one service visit.
Maintenance: Dust mop or sweep floor with untreated mop to remove dirt and
sand. Damp mop floors daily with Newline Industries Neutral Cleaner to keep
a clean, glossy and streak-free finish. Mop floors finished with New Shine with
a neutral pH cleaner. Periodic high speed burnishing will restore New Shine to
its best wet look appearance. For best results when burnishing, pre-clean floor
with Newline Industries Restorer before high speed burnishing.
